Jerry's Nuggets Pointer

The Projects/Jerry's Nuggets/ subfolder of the source OGM Wiki contains 435 markdown files — about 67% of the source's total file count. It's effectively an embedded sub-wiki of Jerry Michalski's curated material from his Brain.

This wiki (ogm-wiki-wiki) treats Jerry's Nuggets as Tier B: pointed at, but not indexed page-by-page in this build pass. Discovery, theming, and people-extraction here all run over Tier A only.

Why a separate tier

Three reasons:

  1. Different content register. Tier A is multi-author OGM-community wiki content. Tier B is single-curator notebook entries — atomic nuggets, mostly short, often quotes or links from elsewhere. Mixing them dilutes both.
  2. Scale skew. If we processed all 653 source files uniformly, Tier B (435 files) would dominate the discovery layer simply by volume. The OGM-community-knowledge content would drown.
  3. Jerry's Brain is the canonical home. The Nuggets folder in the source wiki is, in effect, an export/snapshot. The living version is at Jerry's Brain — TheBrain-format, much larger than what's in the wiki.

What's there

How to use this folder

If you want to dig into Jerry's Nuggets directly:

  1. Browse on GitHub: https://github.com/OpenGlobalMind/ogm-wiki/tree/main/Projects/Jerry's%20Nuggets
  2. Local clone: clone the source repo and ls Projects/Jerry's\ Nuggets/
  3. The Brain itself (canonical, much larger): https://www.jerrysbrain.com/

Future work

A full discovery layer for Tier B is a planned later phase. Possible structures:

If you want to take this on, the corpus map already exists (corpus-map.json in the build session) and includes Tier B metadata.

Tier A pages that point into Tier B

The following Tier A pages reference Projects/Jerry's Nuggets/ content directly (this list is incomplete; full extraction is a future-work item):
